Launching the 2026 Racing Season
The 2026 season for OLGA’S CALIFORNIA DREAM 100 has officially begun with the first general staff meeting in January. This meeting marked the opening of the “road to Madera” and kicked off the planning for “Dream 7.” The team is laying the groundwork for what could be the largest and most thrilling weekend of four-cylinder short-track stock car racing ever seen.
Attendance and Appreciation Awards
Although a few key staff members were unable to attend due to professional and personal commitments, plans are in place to bring them up to speed at the February meeting. The gathering began with the presentation of Appreciation Awards, recognizing what is considered the best team ever assembled for organizing and producing a stock car racing event in the West. In just six years, the team has transformed OLGA’S CALIFORNIA DREAM 100 into the highest paying and most prestigious four-cylinder stock car event in the western United States, attracting teams from eight western states and Canada. A highlight from last year was the participation of two teams from Minnesota, which was a proud moment for everyone involved. The awards, beautifully crafted by Mirinda Davis, were distributed with great pride.
2026 Theme and Merchandise
The team discussed the theme for 2026, planning a Vegas-style weekend presentation designed to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. In addition, new merchandise items such as hoodies and tank tops will be added to the SWAGG clothing line.
Meeting Topics and Goals
The group spent time reviewing event rules and tabled several ideas for discussion at the next meeting. Clear goals and deadlines were set to address the challenges ahead in 2026. There was a heartfelt moment, expressing a wish that Olga could be present to work alongside the team, many of whom never had the opportunity to meet her. Her impact remains unmatched and deeply appreciated.
Looking Forward
The meeting concluded with a sense of enthusiasm and optimism. The team is looking forward to reconvening on February 7, anticipating fresh ideas and continued progress toward their objectives. Special thanks were extended to Mirinda and Mike Davis, Dave Wurtz, Nelson Bentley, driver partners Fred Vigil and Dale Bolinger, and photographer Marleis Bolinger. The team also hopes to see Ryan Bailey, Brittanie Bentley, and Brooke Harris at future meetings.
Closing Remarks
Till we meet again, keep working on those race cars.
