Spotlight on the Southwest Idaho Minis Series
The Southwest Idaho Minis Series emerged from the collaboration between the 2025 Magic Valley Speedway Mini Stock Champion, Josh Lucero, and his fellow mini stock driver and friend, Dale Bolenger. Their shared vision led to the creation of a series designed to bring Southern Idaho drivers together to compete at three prominent regional tracks: Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Meridian Speedway in Meridian, and the Motorplex at the Mill in Emmett.
Racing Opportunities Across Three Tracks
These three challenging racetracks offer aspiring drivers a valuable platform to hone their skills and demonstrate their true racing abilities, all within a cost-effective framework. The variety and competitiveness of these tracks promise to foster talent and showcase the best that four-cylinder racing has to offer.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Currently, the schedule for the 2026 season and the purse structure are being developed. I am eager to see what Josh and Dale will accomplish with this new series. Their dedication and willingness to take on the demanding work of organizing a racing series deserve immense appreciation.
