Out of Sweet Home, OR. Caleb Day and the #24D Dodge Neon will return to finish some unfinished business with the fastest third mile in the west Madera Speedway.
Caleb did a great job adapting to pavement as his Saturday nights are normally ripping up the dirt tracks throughout southern Oregon. During his Dream qualifier he suffered an engine issue prior to taking a yellow and even with the engine issue solved he lost a lap to the leaders.
Caleb put on a real driving clinic as he stayed ahead of everyone but the leader but in the end, he missed his transfer spot to the 100 features.
I’m sure that this year the clean-cut dirt tracker from Southern Oregon will make Bob Day (his Grand Father) and the rest of his team happy when he puts one of the best-looking dirt cars I have seen in a long time in the top twenty cars and locks himself in the field on time.
When this happens his battle with Madera Speedway can be put to rest. Just something to keep in mind. When Caleb returned to the dirt he went on a winning streak and impressed lots of fans and all of us at Dream Central.
Can’t wait to see you guys take care and August 14 &15 is just around the corner.
