Welcome Jim Arbaugh to the 7th Annual Olga’s California Dream 100

Introducing Jim Arbaugh
The 7th Annual Olga’s California Dream 100 is proud to welcome Jim Arbaugh, a dedicated racing enthusiast with a passion for competition.
Jim’s Background
Jim is originally from California and currently resides in Mount Holly, North Carolina, where he works as a machinist in the aerospace defense industry. For years, Jim has hoped to participate in Olga’s California Dream 100, and in 2026, his dream is finally becoming reality.
As a veteran driver, Jim began his racing career at the renowned El Cajon Speedway near San Diego, California. Many talented drivers have emerged from El Cajon Speedway, and Jim’s experience there has shaped his racing skills. He also has a strong background in dirt racing, having competed across southwest Arizona and Southern California.
Team and Equipment
Jim will be driving a race car owned by Jason Hollingsworth, marked with the number 38. Jason, the 2025 Blythe Speedway Mini Stock Champion, has been working diligently to build a competitive racing program, establishing his organization as Arizona’s top four-cylinder racing team.
Support and Gratitude
Traveling from North Carolina to California involves significant expense, and Jim wishes to express his gratitude to his supporters. He thanks Jason Hollingsworth for providing the race car, as well as Tom McLaughlan, Dennis Wheeler, Billy Peppard, and Jeffery Theisler for their support throughout this journey.
Race Strategy
Jim approaches the Dream 100 by viewing it as two 50-lap races. He shares his strategy: “I want to be around at the end and if I am I know I’ll be up front.” This confidence is well-founded, as the Hollingsworth team has recently installed a new engine in the car designated for Jim Arbaugh.
Best Wishes
Everyone at Dream Central extends a warm welcome to Jim and the Hollingsworth team for the 7th Annual Olga’s California Dream 100 and wishes them the best of luck in the competition.
