OLGA’S CALIFORNIA DREAM 100 WEEKEND: Welcoming the Inaugural “Dirty Dream 35”

Introduction

OLGA’S CALIFORNIA DREAM 100 WEEKEND EXPANDS TO WELCOME THE INAUGURAL “DIRTY DREAM 35” FOR THE DIRT CARS ON PAVEMENT SERIES

With excitement building among both seasoned dirt veterans and newcomers eager to challenge themselves on pavement, anticipation for the Dirty Dream 35 continues to grow. This new format celebrates the diversity and enthusiasm within our racing community, while also providing fresh opportunities and competition for drivers to excel in a different environment. As the event draws near, the question remains: who will rise to the occasion, make bold strategic decisions, and potentially become the next legendary figure in the history of the Dream weekend? Whether you’re a fan, a driver, or part of the crew, you’ll experience a unique blend of tradition and innovation that makes this weekend truly special.

Event Overview

Olga’s Dream weekend offers an all-inclusive experience centered on four-cylinder stock car racing. Our friends from the dirt racing world have been outstanding supporters, and in recognition, our dedicated staff at DREAM headquarters has introduced the DIRTY DREAM 35. This new event will serve as a preliminary race to Olga’s California Dream 100, scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Eligibility and Rules

The DIRTY DREAM 35 is an exclusive, inaugural event open only to dirt cars. Participants will compete under the rules of the DREAM 100, as well as those of their home track and the Westcoast Sports Compact Tour. Drivers are encouraged to bring their own rulebooks, but should rest assured that their cars will fit in.

Purse and Prizes

The prize purse will be developed over the summer, with the commitment to ensure it receives full attention. The winner is anticipated to take home $500.00 or more, similar to the prize awarded at the 4th Annual Ferguson Waterworks Prelude to the Dream 50, held at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Competition Format

The Dirty Dream 35 presents a unique opportunity for dirt teams to test their skills on pavement alongside fellow competitors from across the western region. There is an important decision for teams: you must choose to enter either the Dirty Dream 35 or Olga’s Dream 100. The only way to compete in both is by entering two cars or finishing first or second in the Dirty Dream 35, which grants you a transfer spot to Olga’s race. This rule is designed to allow more teams the chance to win a purse, avoiding double dipping.

Potential Entrants

The possibilities for entrants are endless. There is speculation about notable drivers such as 2025 Mohave Valley Raceway, AZ champion Larry Dowell, Sweet Home, OR standout Caleb Day, legendary competitor Tom Brown, and the 2025 Sunset Speedway OR. Open 4’s champion #14 Ryan Conroy, who secured 10 feature victories along with his title in 2025. The list of top contenders could go on for pages.

Other talented racers being considered include Rick and Kevin Thompson, Dw Cosens of New Mexico, and the 2025 Westcoast Sports Compact champion Jeff Durrant. These drivers have refined their skills and consistently qualify for Olga’s Dream 100. Now, they face the strategic decision of whether to compete in the Dirty Dream 35 for a chance at the two transfer spots. Such choices are what make the sport exciting and fun.
