With Olga’s Prelude to the Dream 35 in the books our attention has come back to the 7th Annual Dream Weekend, and we were all extremely excited to see the entry list grow.
Let us start with our good friend John Sproule, driver of the #74 Honda Civic out of Orangevale, CA. John is the 2025 All American Speedway Mini Stock Champion and always a treat to win the Dream 100.
Thanks to John’s 2025 title, he will automatically be entered in the Can’t Lift Champions Bonus Cash Drawing, held Friday night during the “After Practice Pit Party.” The Can’t Lift crew will award four prizes—$25, $50, $75, and $100—to champions competing during Dream Weekend.
John has had several memorable moments during Dream Weekend, but one of the highlights was winning the C-Main, advancing through the B-Main, and earning a transfer spot at the back of the 100-lap A Feature. He went on to finish 10th in the 24-car field—an incredible night of racing.
This year John will be splitting his race time with a sprint car ride and will miss the $500 to win Preview to the Dream to be held on June 20 at Madera Speedway but he has assured us he will be ready to rumble when he rolls into Madera Speedway on August 14 & 15, 2026.
John is a up and coming race car driver with a very bright future in the sport of short track racing and we cannot wait to see him and shake his hand.
