Exciting News for Mini Stock Racers
Attention all Mini Stock drivers and teams: Make plans to attend the 4th Annual Prelude to the Dream 50, taking place at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho, on June 6th. This year, the Dream 100 teams will return to compete against the top teams from Meridian Speedway, creating an ideal warmup event for the highly anticipated 7th Annual Olga’s California Dream 100. That event is scheduled for August 14th and 15th at Madera Speedway, California—known as the Fastest Third-Mile in the West.
Event Highlights and Prize Details
This summer’s highlight in southern Idaho, the Prelude to the Dream 50, promises excitement and fierce competition, with the winner earning a $1,000 grand prize and additional impressive awards. Our valued sponsors—JE Pistons, Five Star Racing Bodies, and Total Seal Piston Rings—have increased their support for Olga’s California Dream 100. Their backing now extends to both the Prelude to the Dream 50 and the Preview to the Dream 35, which will be held at Madera Speedway on June 20th. Competitors can look forward to outstanding product awards from these sponsors as well.
Rules, Technical Inspection, and Tire Regulations
The event will operate under the Dream 100 Rules Package. The Dream team will be on hand to conduct thorough technical inspections, focusing on safety requirements, personal protective equipment, and several other key items to be discussed at the track. Participants should note that this is an open tire rule event—any tire brand is permitted, provided tires are no wider than eight inches and feature grooves or tread.
Teams and Drivers to Watch
We are expecting an impressive lineup, with teams traveling from Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The competition will be intense and entertaining. Among the early entries are Utah’s Ryan Lott, Boise’s Dale Bolinger, Oregon’s Caleb Day, and California’s Josh Cross, who finished as runner-up in last year’s Dream 100. This stellar lineup is just the beginning—the action on track is sure to be memorable.
